The Wall That Heals
The Wall That Heals is coming to Garner’s Lake Benson Park on March 31 through April 3, 2022. The exhibit, hosted by Show N Tell Ministries and the Town of Garner, is the preeminent traveling replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.
The Wall is a 3/4 scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial and travels with a mobile education center. Learn more about The Wall That Heals.

The Wall That Heals Documentary
The 30-minute film explores the contributions North Carolina made to the war in Vietnam. The story is told through the lens of six North Carolina service members who died in the conflict; the thoughts of Joe Marm, a Medal of Honor, recipient; and survivors who still deal with the effects of the war. It features an all-star lineup of narrators, including Joe Mantegna, Scotty McCreery, Beth Leavel, Sharon Lawrence, and John Tesh. Mobile Education Center
As part of this traveling exhibit, the Mobile Education Center includes digital photo displays of “Hometown Heroes” – service members whose names are on The Wall that list their home of record within the area of a visit and the “In Memory Honor Roll” – Vietnam veterans from the local area honored through VVMF’s In Memory program which honors veterans who returned home from Vietnam and later died as a result of their service.

Our Community in Vietnam features the faces and stories of of the brave men from our community who represented their country in Vietnam. They proudly served in the U.S. Army, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, US. Coast Guard, as well as civilian units.

In Memory Honor Roll (See List)
The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund’s (VVMF) In Memory Program honors Vietnam veterans whose lives were cut short as a result of their service after they returned home from Vietnam.
Garner Wall Theme Song
Hollywood composer, singer and arranger Mark Vogel was inspired by The Wall that Heals and the effort to bring The Wall to Garner. His tribute is "This Is Their Time," a salute to all Vietnam veterans.
Mark Vogel is a BMI award winning Television and Film Composer. He is best known for his role on the ABC hit show, Full House. His website is markvogelmusic.co.
