Vietnam Service – United States Army
Specialist 4th Class Alex Skolny (second solider from the left) somewhere in the jungle of Quang Ngai Province, South Vietnam on a reconnaissance mission around July 1970. He was a member of Charlie Company, 1st of the 20th Infantry Brigade, American Division, US Army. He now lives in Garner and works for the Department of Veterans Affairs.
